Spectators were lucky to avoid a flying car at Brands Hatch recently. The two leaders touched sending both into the barriers. One car launched over the safety fencing whilst the other continued to cartwheel several times before coming to rest-the driver climbing out ok. The other car's driver was extricated by 750MC rescue crews and transfered to hospital. No spectators were in the area where the car landed fortunately!
